Lukie is officially a "son"

My baby Lukie is going with his daddy to the father and sons campout tonight. Boy is he PUMPED. I just found him outside in the garage telling the mexican landscaper, who was changing our sprinkler clock, all about it. Unfortunately, as gifted as Lukie is verbally, spanish has not come easily to him and the landscaper was looking completely lost. Tonight is also officially girls night out and boy, are we PUMPED! We are meeting up with other moms and daughters and going out to dinner.

Jayar seemed a little hesitant to take Luke camping, mostly because Jayar is in charge of dinner for everyone. But, when he said this to me, of course, he received a blank stare--- why would that matter? Then I tell him about making dinner every night with 3 or more kids running all around. He did not want to hear about it.
